First of all, I would like to pass on my congratulations on the excellent Ofsted report - very well deserved and I am very thankful for the efforts all the staff put into delivering the curriculum and wider provisions throughout the year that make Chipping Ongar such a wonderful school. 

I could not have wished for a better school for my son and Chipping Ongar exceeded exceeded all my expectations and I know from working in education myself this is not achieved without the tireless efforts and unrelenting commitment from all staff across the school. He always looks forward to going to school which is such a testament to how well you inspire and support our young people. 

Lastly, thank you so much for the intervention put in place in supporting students with their SATs preparation. Having only just sat their formative assessments in class it has not gone unnoticed how quickly you have turned this around to identify and put into the place the intervention you feel your students need, offering this support in addition to all the amazing things you are already doing.

I just wanted to place on record my sincere thanks for the outstanding provision and support that was offered to all the children during the most recent lockdown.  My children both attended the hub as I am a key worker and they absolutely loved every single second of it.  During these very uncertain and anxious times it is not surprising that some children have found these changes unsettling but fortunately, due to each and every member of your amazing staff my children absolutely LOVED coming in and were happy, settled and they both grew in confidence.  The work that goes on 'behind the scenes' at schools during these challenging times is simply phenomenal and I wanted to express my gratitude to you all.  Thank you so much! - KS1 Parent
