Welcome to Larch Class! The class teacher is Mr Waggott whilst the children are also supported by Mrs Chandler and Mrs Mountney. We are looking forward to an exciting, challenging and successful year ahead.

Class Assembly
Year 6 presented their assembly about World War 2 today. They discussed lots of interesting facts they have learned about the war, as well as singing a fantastic version of 'Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler'!

Mock Goose
This week, a child made some 'Mock Goose' and brought it into the class for the children to try. With rationing and limited foods, “mock” recipes were very popular during World War II. I think a lot of the children were surprised to find it was remarkably tasty. I have included the recipe below if you would like to have a go yourself at home.
Ingredients:
- Lentils
- Onion
- Sage
- Butter
- Chicken Stock
- Pepper
- White bread
