Our most recent OFSTED inspection was in January 2023 and confirmed that Chipping Ongar Primary School is a ‘Good’ school with elements of Outstanding for Personal Development and Early Years Provision.
The report recognises the strengths of our school, including "Provision for pupils
personal development is exceptional". It was noted that "Reading is given a high priority."

This table shows the percentage of Year 6 pupils at Chipping Ongar Primary School achieving both the expected and greater depth standard in the tests at the end of Key Stage 2 for 2024/25, compared with the percentage of pupils nationally and against 2023/24 outcomes.
