These community workshops are for members of the whole school communities in Ongar. Parents, carers, governors and family members who would like to learn more about something that affects so many across the community. 

The workshops offer an opportunity for Parents/Carers and other adults to understand more about domestic abuse, how it impacts on children and young people, build confidence and skills in recognising the signs, an understanding of how to respond as well as how to manage some of the complex behaviours related to domestic abuse. Those who have been impacted directly by domestic abuse will have the opportunity to access Alpha Vesta’s ‘Breaking the Cycle Programme’ alongside our Caseworkers. Refreshments and snacks will be provided for the session.
